What is kept
I keep your name and email address, the language and page where you joined, the date and wording of your consent, and the dates when you confirm or unsubscribe. I do not use advertising profiles or email-opening trackers.
Why it is kept
I use this information only to send the occasional emails you asked for about new materials, courses and meetings, and to keep a record of your choice. The legal basis is your consent.
Messages sent through the site
If you use the Write to me form, your message and reply address are delivered to my mailbox so I can answer. They are not added to the mailing list unless you subscribe separately.
Confirmation and withdrawal
Your address is not added to the active list until you confirm it through the email sent after the form. Every later email will include a personal unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops further emails immediately.
Where it is processed
The information is stored in the database of this website. The website hosting and email delivery providers process it only as needed to operate the form and deliver the emails. Because readers may be in other countries, this can involve processing outside the country where you live.
How long it is kept
An active address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. After you unsubscribe, a minimal suppression record is kept for as long as the mailing list is operated so that the address is not added back by mistake. Unconfirmed requests and expired confirmation links may be removed.
Your choices
You may ask what information I hold about you, have it corrected, withdraw consent, or ask for deletion where the law allows. Write to levi@getreal-with.us. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
